For those residents who are no longer in an acute or short-term rehabilitation program, restorative nursing can help close the gap between rehab and home. Directed and implemented by a registered nurse and specialized aides, restorative nursing focuses on the therapeutic use of simulated life activities to help restore daily living skills. Our restorative program includes a fully equipped occupational therapy kitchen that simulates the home environment for training and coping techniques.
